Automobile Bubble Canopy

Bubble-canopies on cars would let people see each other while driving, increasing the psychological accountability, the human interaction, and percieved responsibility of driving. This would likely decrease road rage. It would also eliminate blind spots.

  1. It would also be a bear to scrape off first thing on a cold winter morning. But I like the accountability bit. Those into rude gestures would have to decide if they wanted everyone to see them (they likely would, but...). Those into car dancing would have a better chance of starting a street party at every stop light.

  2. Hhaha! I love it! But would it be safe? And the design might need to change...no offense, but your picture does sort of look like a giant roller skate. Heehee :-P. And also, being one that does appreciate privacy and not having everyone point and laugh at my animated car dancing/singing (which I do love to participate it), I'm not sure if the benefits would outweigh the drawbacks. After all, there have been many times I've had to change clothes in my car (as I'm certain many other girls would agree they have also) - but I'm not at all for exhibitionism! But nevertheless, definitely an idea to consider. I can certainly say I would buy the lime green model in your drawing (lime green being my 2nd fave color). *grin*
