Match.com and Netflix Mashup

If an internet dating site and a movie subscription service merged databases, they could offer some potentially interesting and valuable services.  They both use sprawling neural-net, statistical databases to link survey-question answers to preferences to behaviors and the like.

The service could recommend specific movies to see with a particular date; ones that you both might enjoy and could prompt good conversations, laughter, etc.

The service could also operate in reverse, recommending a compatibility score with potential matches based on your respective movie preferences.
